A dental porcelain crown procedure typically involves two dental visits: the first involves teeth examination, preparation (shaping the tooth), taking an impression, and placing a temporary crown, while the second visit involves removing the temporary crown, checking the permanent crown’s fit, and permanently bonding it in place with dental adhesive. The entire process is designed to restore a damaged tooth’s strength, appearance, and function, protecting it from further decay or damage.
At DGY we use a highly skilled ceramist to create a beautiful,natural and fully functional restoration. Beautiful restorations are not an accident, careful and precise preparation results in excellence.
The porcelain veneer procedure involves three main visits: a consultation discussing with the patient what they desire to change. Models are prepared, as a prelimnary wax up of the desired restorations are done in the lab.
Tooth preparation begins to prepare the teeth where a thin layer of enamel is removed and impressions are taken. Our ceramist will be on location for custom shade and to bond the veneers permanently to the front of the teeth using a strong dental cement.
Custom dental whitening uses professional-grade bleaching gel and custom-fitted trays to whiten teeth from home under a dentist’s supervision. Unlike over-the-counter kits with one-size-fits-all trays, a custom-fitted tray ensures the gel is evenly distributed across your teeth while minimizing gum irritation. The process provides a more effective and controlled whitening experience.
In office whitening is an option where the gel is applied then the use of a special LED light to activate the gel expediting the whitening process.
